Here are several examples of schedules I've used in the past few years:

K-1 Combination Class

My principal required two schedules, one for Kindergarten and one for First, even though most of the time they're doing the same work

This is the First Grade Schedule:

8:55 - 9:05   Students do Seatwork, Teacher Takes Roll, Lunch Count, Collects homework, DOL

9:05 - 9:15    Opening – Child of the Day, Flag Salute, Good Morning Song, Calendar

9:15 - 11:00    INTEGRATED LANGUAGE ARTS Friday 10:15 - 10: 35 Library

9:15 - 9:30    Floor Time w/ KinderKids - Shared Reading / Pocket Charts /
                        Poetry & Song Cards / Alphabet & Phonics / Mini Lesson(s) /Modeled Writing

9:30 - 9:40  Whole Group Seatwork  (Worksheets, Spelling), Followed by Literacy Centers,
                        SSR, Independent Work – children read Home Reading books w/ adult

9:40 - 9:50  Reading Group #1

9:50 - 10:00  Reading Group #2

10:00 - 10:10  Reading Group #3

10:00 - 10:20  Reading Group #4

10:20 - 10:30  Floor Time (with KinderKids) - Poetry, Pocket Charts, Shared Reading,
                                   Modeled Writing

10:30 - 11:00  Writers Workshop and Literacy Centers OR Integrated Thematic Activities

10:30 - 10:40  Reading Group #5

10:40 - 11:00   Writers Workshop Conferences and/or Individual Instruction

11:00 - 11:10   Recess

Mon, Tues, Wed, Th  -  11:10 - 11:30   Developmental Learning Centers
Fri   11:10 - 11:45 Art

11:30 - 11:40  Clean Up, Community Time, Pass out KinderKids homework

11:45 - 12:30  Lunch

12:30 - 12:40  Quiet Time - Story or SSR

12:40 - 1:30 Compucat & Integrated Math Activities  Mon 12:45 - 1:15 Computer Lab

1:30 - 1:50   P.E.

1:50 - 2:20  Social Studies / Science / Art / Book Boxes and Poetry Journals /  Catch Up Time

2:20  Clean Up - Homework - Community/Floor Time  2:31  Dismissal

This is the Kindergarten Schedule that goes with the one above (my kinderkids come half an hour before first grade):

8:25   Pick up class in cafeteria

8:30 - 9:05  Math Their Way - Math Tubs or Other Math Activity OR Integrated Thematic Activities for Science/Social Studies (children read Home Reading books to an adult during this time)

9:05 - 9:15  Opening - Flag Salute, Good Morning Song, Calendar

9:15 - 9:30  Shared Reading / Phonics / Floor Time with First Grade

9:30 - 9:40  SSR / Handwriting / Other activity followed by Literacy Centers and reading groups

9:40 - 9:50  Reading Group #1

9:50 - 10:00  Reading Group #2

10:00 - 10:20 P.E. with other Kinder Classes

10:20 - 10:30 Floor Time with First Grade - Poetry, Pocket Charts, Shared Reading, Modeled Writing

10:30 - 11:10 Writers Workshop and Literacy Centers OR Integrated Thematic Activities (music, art, science, social studies, etc.)

11:10 - 11:30 Developmental Centers with First Graders

11:30 - 11:40 Clean Up, Community Time, Pass Out Homework

11:45   Walk to cafeteria with first graders -- Dismissal to Lunch / Home

This is my schedule for a straight First Grade (our bell schedule changed this year):

8:47 - 8:55     Roll, Lunch Count, DOL

8:55 - 9:10    Child of the Day, Flag Salute, Good Morning Song, Calendar

9:10 - 11:00    INTEGRATED LANGUAGE ARTS

9:10 - 9:25    Floor Time – Alphabet & Phonics / Shared Reading

9:25    Whole Group Seatwork / Independent Work / Home Reading / Followed by Literacy Centers and Reading Groups

        During this time, I had two pullout groups go to the Reading Lab for 25 minutes each

10:20 - 10:30  Clean Up and Floor Time – Poetry / Shared Reading

10:30 - 10:40  RECESS

10:40 - 11:20  Writers Workshop/Home Reading OR  Integrated Thematic Activities

                            WED 10:45 - 11:05 Library           FRI   10:55 - 11:25 Computer

                            Friday – Art / Music / Special Activities

11:20 - 11:30  Clean Up & Community Time

11:30 - 12:10   LUNCH

12:10 - 12:20   Quiet Time –  Story or SSR

12:20 - 1:00   Compucat & Integrated Math Activities

1:00 - 1:30  Social Studies / Science / Skills for Growing

1:30 - 2:00  P.E.

2:00 - 2:25    Developmental Centers / Book Boxes / Special Activities / Catch Up Time

2:30 Dismissal

10:40 - 11:15 Writers Workshop and Literacy Centers OR Thematic Activities (music, art, science, soc studies, etc.)

11:15 - 11:30 Clean Up, Community Time, Closing (pass out homework kits, etc.)

11:35  Children Dismissed, Teacher Lunch

12:15 - 3:15 Teacher Prep Time

1:30 - 1:55  Afternoon Recess Duty
